How to Get Started with Sora 

Access audiobooks and eBooks anytime, anywhere for FREE with Sora, the student reading app. 

Step 1 - Install the Sora app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or go to https://soraapp.com/library/calvertmd

Step 2 - If directed, find your school (Calvert County Schools), then select Calvert County Schools (6-12).

Step 3 - Log in with your school ID (ex: s12345@calvertnet.k12.md.us) followed by your password.

Step 4 - Browse the Explore tab and borrow a book. Your book will open so you can start reading right away.

Step 5 - View your Shelf to see all your books (including assignments). 

• Click Open Book or Open Audiobook to read or listen to the book.
• Click Options to renew or return the book, get to your notes and highlights, and more

How to add a public library 

Step 6 -  Click on the menu (3 lines) in the upper right hand corner 

• Select Add a  library in the menu.
• Find a library by name, city, zip/postal code
• Select This is my library to add the collection
